There is nothing ’secure’ about Security Center. If you are one of the unfortunate thousands of people with this spyware infection on your computer, you must get rid of it quickly. Security Center spreads through trojans Bundo and Zlob and will destroy your system if given the chance it needs. It will hijack your internet browser, adjust your desktop, annoy you with popups, and attempt to steal your credit card information using high pressure marketing tactics and fake scans. Before Security Center pop-up ads make you throw your computer out of the window, let me tell you how to remove the threat. Let?s first identify what this malicious software programs is and some of the tell tail signs your are infected. If you have a fake anti-virus program that starts as soon as you boot up and if the name says Virus Heat then my condolences you are infected. This fake anti-virus program often times has a fake security alert in the bottom right of your computer screen called the system tray. Not only will you start seeing pop-ups and redirects to their website but you your home page will be highjacked to whatever fake site they have up at the time.

The reason for the infection is most likely from the Zlob trojan downloader. This is particular trojan downloads many other spyware and malware programs including Virus Heat. All the pop-ups that you are getting that are not pushing the fake security product are not related to the fake anti-virus software. Those pop-ups are from other spyware programs that are on your computer. You need to remove the Zlob threat and all other spyware on your computer before your system becomes too unstable. The longer you wait to take care of this the hard it will be to remove and you risk loosing your personal files on the system. Remember if you have Virus Heat then you also have other spyware programs installed on your system.

Under no circumstance should you pay for this fake anti-spyware program. I know they say things like your personal data is being stolen and the like but that is because they are trying to install fear in the end user and trick you into buying the program. I know many of you are looking for a free way to remove this threat but even with all the free spyware programs out there you most likely will not be able to solve the issue. You should consider buying software to solve this issue as it will solve two problems you are having. The first is removing the spyware from your computer and the second is to protect you system so it does not happen again. Not having proper protection is a big mistake and you will just end up in the same boat again if you do not.
