NEW YORK, Aug 23, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- American Express OPEN today announced the expansion of its OPEN Savings(R) program with OfficeMax(R), HP and Flextronics RTS's Firedog tech support and enhanced savings with Hertz(R). OPEN Savings gives small business owners automatic savings virtually every time they use an American Express(R) Business Card to make purchases at any OPEN Savings partner. Cardmembers are able to apply their OPEN Savings on top of any other partner sales, discounts or promotions.
-- Firedog: Cardmembers will save 10% on all Firedog purchases including end-to-end tech support service for computer installations, repair, PC upgrades, virus removal and all other business technology needs at www.firedog.com or 1-800-FIREDOG.
-- Hertz: Cardmembers can now save up to 10% at Hertz. They save 5% on purchases when spending between $500 and $2,500 a year and 10% on purchases when spending more than $2,500 a year.
-- HP Direct: Cardmembers will receive 5% off all purchases from the world's largest technology company at www.hpdirect.com or 866-511-0279.
-- OfficeMax: Cardmembers will save 5% when they spend over $100 on a single transaction, by phone, online or at nearly 1,000 OfficeMax stores.
