COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - My computer is running slow! It just isn't working right! It has a virus! Well, don't throw it out the window just yet. There may be somebody that can help and it's free...
USC students from the College of Engineering and Computing will host a 'Fix-IT Day Saturday' on September 25.
From noon until 6 p.m., students will offer computer diagnostics, repair services and virus, malware and spyware removal.
The group can also offer assistance in obtaining proper virus protection, keeping your computer secure and up to date and troubleshooting general problems.
The event is free and open to the public. It will take place in the lobby of the Swearingen building at 301 Main St. in Columbia.
