Computer Users in Salt Lake City Being Cautioned of Virus-Laden E-Mails – SPAMfighter News
According to an advise by security researchers, online users within Salt Lake City (Utah, US) must watch out for malicious e-mails which are presently circulating online. Ksl.com published this on November 10, 2010.
Apparently sent from a person whom the recipient recognizes, the e-mails have an empty subject line as also they display just a web-link within the entire space of the messages. Paradoxically, the e-mails carry one dangerous PC virus.
Says photographer Daniel Silva that he began receiving strange e-mails from persons whose e-mail ids were in his address book. But, he erased each one of them while being careful not to click anything. Ksl.com reported this on November 11, 2010.

Typically, if e-mail spammers manage to get an address list, they dispatch e-mails which seem as though someone from that list sent them. The same was being done for making money, Sperry said, who added that the criminals got those bot-infected PCs, which they then used to distribute spam.
Thus, specialists recommend that Web-surfers must remain vigilant about the malicious Internet campaigns. That the proliferation of the dangerous virus gets prevented on the Web as well as onto end-users' computers, people must take their computers offline, the specialists further advise.
Meanwhile, it can prove difficult to eliminate a PC virus in the absence of virus removal programs; therefore, it's necessary that end-users deploy anti-virus software that'll automatically scrutinize their systems. Such scrutiny will reveal the virus, which the security software will either isolate or eliminate, or suggest the user about an appropriate action, expectantly cleansing his computer.
Finally, in case an end-user thinks there's a serious infection on his PC, he must take an expert's help for removing the virus permanently.
