"Excellent antivirus"
Pros: -Quick scans
-Low resource usage
-Very affordable
-Very good protection
-Updates downloaded when available, not in a once a day lump
-Firewall silent
-Good email protection
-Good detection of zero day malware
-Plays well with Malwarebytes Pro
Cons: -Scanning time doubles if you try to work when a scan is running
-Updates as soon as the computer is running. So if you have not had the computer on for a few days or so, the computer can be a little sluggish
Summary: A must for any computer type.
Forget other antivirus products buy this one!

* best customer support
* affordable price

Summary: I have been using this amazing antivirus about 11 month and nothing wrong has happened with my computer. :) they offer best customer support and the other thing that i liked about this is that it scans through all my files which really protects my computer. that is why I am going to keep using and i truly recommend this to anyone who loves best protection.

"Fails to stop trojans. No customer support."
Pros: None that I can see
Cons: Weak anti-virus. No customer support. Don't give a toss if you complain.
Summary: Lets trojans through. I've used Zone Alarm for 10 years and never been hit. After 2 weeks with Avira a trojan got through and locked up my system. Weak anti-virus. No customer support. They just ignore email. They finally gave me a refund after a 3-week battle. Skip the hassle - use anything else.

"Avira Premium lets Trojans in. NO customer support."
Pros: None that I can see
Cons: Premium security suite is easily beaten by trojans. When I asked Avira for support and an explanation, my emails went unanswered. If you live outside their area of support, you can't contact them by phone either.
Summary: I had a virus within a few weeks of installing Avira Premium (paid for) Security Suite. I have never been hit before (I ran Zone Alarm for years and foolishly decided to change to Avira.)
Complete crap. And No support. They ignore all attempts to contact them.
I asked for a refund. No reply.
Avoid at all costs.

"No. 1, and remains as so."
Pros: keeps my pc in great shape and good health! worked to perfection on my windows 7 pc
Cons: rather slow on my windows xp pc. and occasionally, crashes during shut down, till i had to manually terminate the program.

- I was given promises that were never kept.
- My business was damaged as a result of their inappropriate treatment
- After making my point - over emails - with one of their Team Leader ? I received an offer to get one year free subscription - I refused immediately.
- The cost of the computer technician who fixed our computer - was unexpected, high and
Unnecessary expense, especially in this economic time.
- My Livelihood injured - As a home business owner (Giving Office-services including
Quick Book).
- I will never recommend AVIRA company or its products !
