LEMONT, Ill (AP) - DuPage County officials say they've found mosquitoes that tested positive for the West Nile virus - the first such results in the county this year. The (Arlington Heights) Daily Herald reports the mosquitoes were collected this week in a trap in the community of Lemont.

CHICAGO (AP) - Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel is reducing the size of a controversial security detail that a powerful city alderman has had for years. The issue of Alderman Ed Burke's four-officer detail has dogged Emanuel for weeks. Emanuel's office says the mayor is also eliminating city-funded security for the Cook County State's Attorney and the CEO of the Chicago Housing Authority.
