Instead, at the end of this fake scan you will be prompted that your computer has been infected with Trojan.Horse.Win32.PAV.64.a.

After your computer reboots you will not be able to access your desktop. Instead, the Windows Concern System will appear on your screen, prompting you once again to scan your computer for viruses. After the fake scan is complete, numerous fake threats will be displayed. Windows Concern System will then suggest that you buy the full program online in order to be able to remove the threats from your computer. The Windows Concern System window will also prevent you to access your desktop.

Whatever you do, do not give your credit card information by trying to buy this full version of the program as it is nothing more than a scam. Here is what you need to do:

Removing Windows Concern System

• First, you will need to be able to access your desktop. To do so you will first need to run the fake scan after you reboot your computer. After the fake scan you will be shown a Fix Errors button. Pressing the button will get you to the Update Manager screen. When the Update Manager screen pops up you will finally be able to close the fake anti-spyware by clicking X on the top right. Windows Concern System will still run in the background but you will now be able to access your normal Desktop.To completely remove this Trojan you will need to download RKill, Shell.reg and Malwarebytes’Anti-Malware (MBAM).

*Note that if you are not able to access the internet whilst infected with the Windows Concern System, you will need to download these applications from another working computer.

• Before you can start disinfecting your computer you need to run RKill in order to kill the Windows Concern System process. Keep in mind that it might take some time for RKill to scan your system so be patient. In case you get messages that RKill is a virus you need not worry. Windows Concern System is trying to protect itself. After RKill finishes scanning Do NOT restart your computer.

• Next you will have to fix your Windows Registry by using Shell.reg. If you skip this step your Windows Desktop will not be displayed after you will restart your computer. Run Shell.reg and allow it to merge the data.

• Install MBAM and make sure to check the buttons labeled as: Update Malwarebytes’Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes’Anti-Malware. After installation, reboot the system if prompted.

• MBAM will start automatically and after applying updates, you will need to go to the Scanner tab, check the Perform Full Scan radio button and click on the Scan button.

• Once the scan is completed, click OK on the message box. Next, you will be shown the infections that were found on your computer. Make sure that all of these infections are checked and then press the Remove Selected button. After MBAM finishes disinfecting your system, reboot your system if prompted to do so.

If you’ve managed to follow all these steps, your computer should now be clean.
