Win32 Virus Removal

My Security Shield is a rogue anti-spyware program that stands prominent amongst programs that generate false positives and pose to be legitimate and usable programs. False infectious programs like My Security Shield are promoted through websites that display online advertisements claiming to be anti-malware scanner programs.

This scanner program thus pretends to scan your computer and as the scanning completes, it also infects your computer forcing you to download and installing My Security Shield to protect your computer.

Manually Removing My Security Shield:

1. First open Windows Task Manager and kill the process titled “MS345d_2129.exe”.
2. Then open regedit and delete the following registry values:
   - HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\3
   - HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{3F2BBC05-40DF-11D2-9455-00104BC936FF}

   - HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer “PRS” = “http://127.0.0.1:27777/?inj=%ORIGINAL%”
   - HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Download “RunInvalidSignatures” = “1″
   -HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent\Post Platform “control/7.02129″
   -HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run “My Security Shield”
   - HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchScopes “URL” = “http://findgala.com/?&uid=2129&q={searchTerms}”
   - HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Download “CheckExeSignatures” = “no”U
3. Unregister “mozcrt19.dll sqlite3.dll”.
4. Delete the following directories:
   - c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\345d567\
   - c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\MSHBXRCOBWS\
   - %UserProfile%\Application Data\My Security Shield\

Easier Removal for My Security Shield

1. You may also attempt an automatic uninstall of My Security Shield downloading and installing the Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware program from here.
2. When the installation has been completed the program will ask you to update it before performing a scan using the latest database of issues for the program.
3. In case of any problems whilst updating, you should open and configure your computer’s firewall program to configure it to allow internet access permissions to Malwarebyte’s Anti-Malware.
4. Finally run Malware Bytes Anti-Malware allowing it to perform a complete scan of your PC and remove any infections that it detects.
