Antivir Solution Pro is a fake antispyware program that wants to scan your computer for viruses. It’s tricky, it’s annoying, but it’s definitely not the first of its kind and we will see many others in the future. Unexperienced users might download it because of fear… fear of having an infected computer and wanting to get the malware out of their machines ASAP. Fortunately, most rogue security programs cannot irreparably damage your computer, albeit they can still important personal data from your system.
The damage level of Antivir Solution Pro hasn’t yet been determined therefore you have to remove it right way so read on to find out how can you do it!
Well, there are two ways that can help you remove Antivir Solution Pro virus and we are going to start with the easy one so the Antivir Solution Pro virus removal guide begins now.
First “solution” to remove the Antivir Solution Pro malware:
- Download Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware software here;
- Install Malwarebytes’ Anti-Mawlare program;
- Follow the instructions and pick “default” options as those are the best options for you;
- Choose to “Update” and “Launch” Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware during the installation process;
- After the program is installed and updated, it will automatically launch;
- If you feel it’s necessary or if the update process failed during installation, then click “Update” once again in the software’s homescreen;
- Click “Scan” and make sure that it’s a complete scan;
- After the scan is complete, click to “Show Results”;
- Mark all threats detected by Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware and then click “Remove Selected”;
- The threats will now be removed and you will have to restart your computer.
These malware software might block your from downloading or even scanning your system using real anti-malware software like Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware and if this happens then you need to do this:
- Restart your computer and after the memory test, then press F8 so that you can go into Safe Mode;
- After pressing F8 a boot list will appear – please choose: “Safe Mode with Networking”;
- Your computer will now boot into Safe Mode so when your desktop shows up, please click “Start” in the bottom left corner;
- In the menu click “Run”;
- In the line type “command” and hit enter;
- In the windows that opens, type “notepad” and you’ll notice that an instance of Notepad will open;
- When Notepad is open, please copy / paste the following lines: [-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.exe\shell\open\command]
[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\secfile\shell\open\command]
[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.exe\shell\open\command]
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.exe]

[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\secfile] - At the above point copy everything after the “:”, OK? Let’s move on!
- After that save the file on your Desktop and name it as it follows: ” exefix.reg ” and choose Save As ”All Files” from the list.
- Open the “exefix.reg” file found on your Desktop and then click “Yes”;
- When these steps are completed, then you can download and install Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware here, and follow the Antivir Solution Pro removal instructions above.
If the Antivir Solution Pro is not dead and gone yet, then you should follow the second way of removing the malware so listen carefully!
Second way to remove Antivir Solution Pro virus:
- Delete the Antivir Solution Pro files and folders created. You can find them here: %UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\[random]\[random].exe

%UserProfile%\Desktop\Antivir Solution Pro.lnk - After deleting these files and folders, click “Start” in the bottom left corner, type “Regedit” and press enter;
- Locate and DELETE the following Windows registry entries: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Antivir Solution Pro
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\Antivir Solution Pro
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\AntivirSolution
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies \System\DisableTaskMgr
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies \System\DisableTaskMgr - Save and exit the registry editor and then restart your computer.
