Industrial Park Shopping: BAIC Multimeida and IT Solutions – Patch.com
Benicia Patch periodically profiles businesses located in the Industrial Park. Patch interviewed C.J. Spurlock, owner of BAIC Multimedia and IT Solutions, at his Historic Benicia Arsenal Office.
How long has _BAIC Multimedia and IT Solutions_ been located in the Arsenal?
We’ve had our offices in the Arsenal for about 2 years. We work with a number of local clients.
Tell me about BAIC Multimedia.
We serve small to midsize companies, home-based businesses, and residential clients. BAIC provides a wide range of IT services including web and email hosting, computer set-up and diagnostics, virus and malware removal, data retrieval, networking and network security, printing services, and audio/video editing and production. We currently do not provide hardware repair and services.
What we do best is customer service. We have made that a priority. There is no call center to deal with. Many times our customers have tried larger tech companies and then they come to us. In essence, we are the tech department for smaller companies providing the IT assistance they need to keep their businesses running smoothly. Whether you are buying something as simple as a printer or as complex as an entire network or website, we will take you through the process, step by step.
How did you get into the business?
I started in a corporate environment then moved to a small company providing a more mobile and flexible service. They encouraged a personalized way of working with clients. My original partner Wayne and I decided we could provide that same level of service or better and started Bay Area Internet Connection (BAIC). Our business has expanded and we are still growing. We now not only work with local clients but also serve out-of-state clients remotely.
How do you get the word out that you are in the Industrial Park?
Our customers find out about us by word-of-mouth.
What are the benefits of your Industrial Park location?
We are comfortable here. We enjoy the casual atmosphere of the Arsenal.
Anything else you would like to share with your Benicia neighbors?
We are also an environmentally conscious company. We welcome those who want to know more about us to visit our website.
