NetQin Mobile Anti-virus Solution Receives National Computer Virus Emergency … – TMC Net
NetQin Mobile Inc. announced that its NetQin Mobile Anti-virus or NetQin Mobile Security for Android (News - Alert) has been certified by The Anti-Virus Products Testing and Certification Center under The National Computer Virus Emergency Response Center of the People’s Republic of China.
According to company sources, The National Computer Virus Emergency Response Center is the only anti-virus product testing organization that has been approved by the Chinese government.
“This certification is the result of NetQin’s continuous focus in delivering the best mobile security service for consumers,” said Dr. Henry Yu Lin, chairman and CEO of NetQin, in a release.
“We’re honored that NetQin’s technology leadership has been recognized both in China and around the world,” added Lin.
NetQin is a provider of consumer-centric mobile security and productivity applications. Its NetQin Mobile Anti-virus for Android is the first mobile security application that has successfully achieved this security certification.
The certification is awarded only after conducting a detailed evaluation of security application integrity and stability; virus scanning detection and removal capabilities; OS and hardware compatibility and configuration.
It was revealed that NetQin Mobile Anti-virus satisfied all evaluation criteria with zero false detection, and was highly effective in detecting and removing viruses that infect multiple mediums like wireless networks, memory cards, USB cables, WiFi (News 
- Alert), Bluetooth and MMS.
NetQin Mobile Anti Virus for Android also received Checkmark Mobile Security Certification from the West Coast Labs. Checkmark specializes in technical research, testing and offers the Checkmark Certification for information security products and services.
