SE Tech Squad clinic set for Tuesday – Durant Daily Democrat
The tech squad is hosting a free computer clinic Tuesday, Dec. 1, in the Russell Building.
A repair service will be held from 4-7 p.m. in the computer lab, room 116. Services will be provided to the first 16 clients who arrive by 5:30 p.m.
Those with desktop computer should bring their CPU unit box, and notebook computer owners should bring the computer and the power cord. If any applications or operating system software/hardware needs to be installed, please bring all of the software or hardware.
Free computer services include virus and spyware removal and prevention; repairs, upgrades, maintenance, consulting, etc.; and installing/reloading software/hardware. Virus scans can take up to one and a half hours.
A how-to presentation, “Creating a Simple Webpage,” will be held in the multi-media room, room 100, from 7–8 p.m. No reservation is required to attend.
Attendees can park north of the Fine Arts building.
The clinic is sponsored by Southeastern, the Department of Chemistry, Computer, and Physical Sciences, and the School of Arts and Sciences.
