Do I Need A Virus Removal Tool Even If I Have Anti-virus Program Installed In My System?
I’ve just read some thread and article says that in their opinion we need some virus removal tool for a better protection. I just want to ask if that is true so. Thanks for your advice!
there are virus scanners that concentrate on viruses like the conficker and the most common. i downloaded these and run them from time to time to make sure that everything is smivy with my pc:
mcafee avert stinger
avast virus removal tool
symantec w32.downadup removal tool
cwshredder
all 4 of these are only like 4.5 mb combined and concentrate on the most common viruses, the conficker, and that cool web search. better safe than sorry.
if you’re interested in any of these then go to CNET at http://www.downloads.com they are free and they are not anti-virus programs but virus scanners so there won’t be any conflicts. i moved all four into 1 file and when i need 1,i just open the file, click on the 1 that i want to use and scan
That’s really a matter of personal choice… I don’t, but if it makes you feel more secure, than by all means, get one… It won’t hurt anything…
GOOD LUCK !!
It doesn’t hurt. There’s many cases of malware/virus infection where the existing anti-virus could not delete it. But a program like Malwarebytes and SUPERAntiSpyware can. You should always have one anti-virus program, one firewall, and as many anti-malware programs as you like, just don’t run any two scans at the same time.
And, it is safe to have an anti-virus, firewall, and anti-malware running at the same time. Just not two anti-viruses or two firewalls.
No, and decent anti-virus program will be sufficiant. To be safe you can go under the quarentine (diffrent names) and delete the files.
Follow the instruction on the link below,How to using Spyware Cleaner to clean your computer of virus and spyware very effective guranteed!
