It all started yesterday in the afternoon, my browser keeps closing suddenly and saying there’s been an error. I don’t think it’s the Conficker because I have my anti-virus running and my computer seems to be working fine (and also, its when i go to a few websites only). So what’s up?

Any information would help. I have a theory, what if I just disconnect my internet connection from my computer? How do computers get viruses/worms in the first place? Don’t they only get them from the internet? They can’t possibly get viruses from the air or contaminated spaces like us humans. Would disconnecting my internet connection prevent from being infected by the Conficker C virus?

Hey, my girlfriend works at a vet hospital where she de-worms animals all the time. Do you think I can just use some of the de-wormer from her work for the Conficker worm?

I was curious after reading about the Conficker C this morning;how many people would take it seriously and others think of it as a joke. Still be careful outthere.

I’m pretty sure I have conficker or some similar virus that wont let me access Microsoft or BitDefender, and Threatfire is the only anti-virus program i can download with out the virus keeping me from the website.
