My laptop is under attack. I’ve found a few trojan and spyware removal programs, but of course they want you to pay for them after the scan. Does anyone know where I can get a program that will actually remove the bugs? I’ve already tried Ad-Aware that didn’t seem to work and OneCare as well. [...]

It’s Kaspersky Internet Security and along with that scan I also used Microsoft’s Malicious Software Removal Tool, which came up with nothing. I’m just curious if anyone knows if my computer is in good shape?

I have used Windows Live One Care for over 2 years. I like it but it is being discontinued. I am looking at replacing it with Bitdefender Total Security 2009, or Kaspersky Internet Security 2009, or Grisoft AVG Internet Security. What are your recommendations and are there others I should consider. I use XP and Vista on 3 computers.
