I have a trojan called RootKit.Agent.ODG. My ESET security anti-virus says it is unable to clean the file so can you recommend a good anti-virus site/tool for me to remove the trojan? I can’t seem to find a free and reliable one that doesn’t have spyware attached to it.

The Conficker Worm, also known as Downadup, Kido and W32/Conficker.worm is a deadly worm and affects Windows XP and Windows Vista computers. Once your computer is infected, this worm causes denial of service to mostly all security related websites. It blocks access to Windows Automatic Update Service, Windows Security Center Service, WinDefend Service, and Windows Vista TCP/IP auto-tuning.

Some of the variants of Conficker worm are present with extensions: .a,.b,.c,.d, and .e. The worm was supposed to create havoc on 1st April. However, this was a hoax and the worm was present even before 1st April 2009 and still creating havoc. The Conficker exploits vulnerability in Microsoft Windows Server Service and spreads via LAN, WAN, or removable drives.
