The Zlob Disease Is Associated With Total Virus Protection
Many people have heard all of the warning about rogue antispyware, but this plague continues to grow and grow. The latest mutation to the epidemic seems to be Total Virus Protection, unfortunately by the time someone reads this article there is going to be at least few other types of rogue antispyware infecting people?s computers.
The time when the average user has the ability to remove malicious software manually is gone. Some people might disagree with me, but with over three hundred and fifty different rogue software programs it has become too time consuming to keep up with all of the threats on the Internet.
Total Virus Protection is just like all of the other rogue antispyware applications. The typically rogue software program has only one goal and that is to try to scare the user into purchasing a full version of a dangerous program that in all likelihood is the only problem with someone?s computer.
The real problem with Total Virus Protection is that it actually installs other types of malware on an infected computer. The way Total Virus Protection gets on a computer in the first place can be one of several different tactics that the creators employ. The most common infiltration comes from a trojan known as Zlob.
The trojan Zlob has infected millions of computer around the world and happens to have morphed into dozens of different variants. The Zlob trojan can infect a computer in some of the most unlikely ways. There have been reports of people getting infected with the Zlob trojan through online messaging programs like Yahoo and AOL Instant Messenger, as well as while playing online games like World Of Warcraft and Call To Arms.
Once a computer is infected with Zlob, the trojan will start downloading one of the hundreds of different rogue antispyware programs like Total Virus Protection. Removing the rogue software is no guarantee that the user has fixed the problem. In some cases Zlob has been known the hide in several different Windows system files only to download Total Virus Protection again. Truly sophisticated versions of Zlob will wait of a period of time and download some other type of rogue software program.
There are currently over 32 different variants of the trojan Zlob and all of them seem use ActiveX codex to install itself onto someone?s computer, this can be hard to avoid considering that almost every audio and video application on Windows uses ActiveX.
To remove and protect yourself from all of the potential hazards on the Internet it is important that computer users use more than one type of protection program. All users need a good reliable spyware protection program as well as a trusted malware removal and protection program.
When looking for a good protection program it is advisable to take the time to find one that has some type of guarantee. If you are lucky enough to find one that is 100% guaranteed take the time to research it and check to see if they offer a money back guarantee. Without protection the chances of doing damage to the computer is not a risk most people are willing to take.

How To Get Rid Of Zlob Trojan And Vundo Trojan In Registry For Free?
I downloaded a picture viewing codec with a trojan in it. Only Spyhunter found the trojans in the registry, but you have to pay $30.00 to get rid of them. Is there a free programe that can get rid of them? I downloaded 5 programs and they can’t find them. Only spyhunter can find them in the registry.
Second question – If I choose to save important info on CD and just reinstall Windows, the registry will be reinstalled and the trojans will be gone, right?

Removing Zlob Spyware From a Computer
The dangers posed by the Zlob spyware range from slowing down your system by eating up its resources to rendering it unusable as it will often hijack your browser and lead it to virus laden websites. Removal is therefore essential.
One of the reasons why getting rid of the Zlob spyware can be hard is that you will not know that it is in your PC until it starts slowing your system down. When you begin to suspect that the spyware is in your computer, there are a number of things that you can do.
Owing to the different types of Zlob spyware out there, the ways and means of deleting them also vary. The first step is to go to the Add/Remove programs in Windows and look for the program there. If it is on the list, click remove. In some cases that will be enough.
If you reboot the system and still experience the symptoms, chances are the Zlob spyware is still there. If this happens, you should go to the Run option in the Start Menu and type “taskmgr”. Click “processes” and uncheck any files named msmsgs.exe or nvctrl.exe. Reboot your computer and run a few programs to check if the Zlob spyware has disappeared.
If the problems persist, chances are the Zlob spyware still has a few DLL files installed. To remove them, go to Windows Explorer and click search and type uimcu.dll, dtjby.dll and antzozc.dll. Once they appear in the results box, select and delete them. Use shift plus delete to permanently remove them from your PC.
For good measure, erase any other Zlob spyware from the Windows Registry as well. Click the Start Menu, and go to the Run option. In the dialog box, type “regedit” and hit enter or click “ok”. Once the Registry Editor opens, look for any of the dll files mentioned earlier and delete them. If there is a folder called Zlob, delete it too.
These steps should get rid of any Zlob spyware in your computer. To lessen the instance of this happening, you should install an anti spyware program and antivirus software. A lot of these applications are free and regularly updated so there is really no excuse for not having one. Also be careful when you open any email attachments or downloading software without scanning the file first.
Another step you can take to lessen the damage that Zlob spyware and others like it can inflict on your system is to perform a regular backup. Doing this will make it easier for you to reinstall the programs in case the need arises. Of course, it is also important that you have the CDs so that you can restore the software quickly. However, do not make the mistake of backing up files on a hard disk that is infected with spyware or viruses as this may affect the ones on your backup disc too.
The important thing to remember when you realize that the Zlob spyware is in your system is not to panic. By simply following the steps outlined above, you will have no problems eliminating this threat from your personal computer.
