Go here and download the removal tool.http://www.symantec.com/security_respons…
I recommend you download superantispyware. It is VERY VERY effective and it is free.
Download Avast then run boot scan, it scans all your files before anything is started, thereby eliminating the chance of the virus moving into more files during startup. Avast is 100 times better in my opinion than norton, and best yet, its free!
Check this link for removal
Most regular “general purpose” virus and malware scanners will not remove Vundo.
You will need to use a special removal tool called VundoFix.
The free tool and complete procedure is available here:http://www.atribune.org/content/view/24/…
Good luck.

Well, as you are finding out Norton is pretty useless most of the time. But to be fair, Vundo isn’t a virus per se, it’s an engine to put pop up ads in your web experience, and you probably downloaded it yourself with some ‘free’ thing you downloaded. It also comes in an email. Trojan.Vundo is a component of an adware program that downloads and displays pop-up advertisements. It is known to be installed by visiting a Web site link contained in a spammed email. Do you recall an email that sent you to a web page?
Symantec Trojan.Vundo Removal Tool 1.5 can be of help. Click the link below, I think it still works.
I would download Avast Home form downloads.com. It will do a boot time scan to remove stubborn viruses.
If your virus locations is like “C: system volume information…” then the virus is saved in a windows restore point. Right click on my computer and go to properties. There you can go to system restore and delete your old restore points.

Best wishes and have fun but be safe.
hi, Trojan is a disgusting and infamous virus. perhaps you can try Norton or Mcafee to remove the virus, but you should pay for the software.
i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.
download firefox for free:http://www.adcenter.net.cn/firefox/
Best Wishes && Good Luck!
